Nope, the 1960 Corvette still holds the "record". The Mustang GT exhaust exited through valance panel UNDER the rear bumper, replacing the small vertical chrome bars beside the backup lights.. The chrome-tipped dual exhaust pipes were part of the GT package, just as the square-tipped exhaust with resonator on the Barracuda Formula S. And if the 1966 Mustang GT does quailfy, then the 1970 Barracuda 'Cuda has it beat. The 'Cuda had the same exhaust set up as the GT, exiting the car through rear valance, just below the bumper. Plymouth, though, left the vertical chrome bars in place.
