[FWDLK] '58 Auto Pilot

Hi, could someone let me know how to disconnect the cable from the Auto-Pilot unit which runs to the speed control switch on the steering column on a ’58 Chrysler. Is it possible to disconnect this cable from the Auto Pilot end? I don’t see any reference to the Auto-Pilot in my w/s manual.
