[FWDLK] Towing vehicle needed

Hi All,

 

I need to tow my new acquisition from San Francisco CA to Seattle WA and just can’t seem to find me a rental with a hitch.

Tried Hertz, Alamo and Aviz, but imaginable: they don’t rent cars with a hitch. For a moment I thought I could always have a hitch mounted around the corner…, but that wouldn’t be really smart, for insurance reasons.

 

Tried U-Haul, but for one-way they only rent a 10’ Truck, which is a little over done for the job. It’s just 2100 lbs to tow. U-Haul also has a Cargo Van or Pickup Truck, but these are only for in-town moves.

 

So…, anybody know where to rent me a mid size car or small truck with a hitch?

 

BTW: didn’t mention what’s to tow, because it isn’t forward look: it’s a 1960 Airstream travel trailer to match my 1957 Dodge.
