Somene offered him stupid money for it, so he
pulled it and sold it to them direct.
By cancelling it he avoids a final value fee, just
pays the listing fee, which it looks like he started it pretty cheap so it
wasn't much.
When you see something that goes regularly for say,
$500 and up, you have to wonder about people who bid a tenth of that. Why
bother? I say the same thing when I run a reserve price auction with a low
open and a buy it now not much over the reserve and the bids never even get
close. Tire-kickers I guess.
