I'll find out the fellow's father's name next time I speak with him! The son, who I spoke with, is in his late 50's, and is an investment banker. He was doing some excessive name dropping (members of the Rat Pack, etc.) but Virgil was the only pertinent name to the Chrysler 300 & ForwardLook lists. John Spiers

There is a quick interview with Tex Colbert included as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Op_B12HpY&NR=1 or http://tinyurl.com/2dmwfx Also, I'm selling my mother's '88 BMW 635CSi - Yesterday, a gentleman came to the house to lok at it, saw the '59 Windsor I'm parting out, and the first thing he said was that Virgil Exner was best man at his parent's wedding! He also said another designer from Raymond Loewy's staff was supposed to be there, but got caught in a storm.
