that said about a spare everything.... on one of my "points" daily - driven 58's.... i go through an autozone mechanical fuel pump about every 9-13 months... whenever its the coldest---- it starts to spit out of the poorly [knurled? ] junction of the pressed sheetmetal bottom to cast upper part- but they're warranty... 4th so far hasnt cost me anything... and for a spare- i keep an electris pump with dragon clips in the toolbox for the long rides.

and to stay truely on topic.... a 56-58 fury has gold inserts :)
