Ron, I think Imperial Services sells a reproduction of that cable. If you prefer to patch it, I recall using heat-shrink tubing on mine to seal it, and it has been fine for years. -Dave -----Original Message----- From: Forward Look Mopar Discussion List [mailto:L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ron Waters Sent: Monday, June 04, 2007 7:24 AM To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [FWDLK] Transmission Cable Questions Hi Gang - Two questions about the torqueflite transmission cable for my 58 Plymouth. The rubber sheath that covers the cable is ripped and needs to be replaced. Because of this, I have fluid leaking from the cable. Where can I get a replacement sheath ? What is the secret to aligning the cable at the transmission end, so that my car won't go into gear when it's in neutral ? Thanks, Ron ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
