Roger is completely correct; the car SHOULD be preserved, in a museum, exactly as-is. And, that is why it is so valuable; once it is manipulated, it tends to lose its value, as an artifact. I am confident that it will be properly preserved. And, you know what??? The so-called controversy, about its condition, will make it MORE interesting, and valuable, to a museum!!!
