I wanted to get my carb rebuilt before I leave on a trip, a week from Monday. I found a local shop that specializes in rebuilding carbs. I brought him my car and he is having a problem finding parts for mine. It is a 56 DeSoto Firedome, Carter BBD, #2310S. He has the books for it but when calling around for parts there are problems with finding them. He says he can get them for earlier and later years but not that one.

Does anyone have a source or can give me some help? I am leaving with this car for a trip in a week but it does not look good.
