Thanks to everyone who responded to my vacuum advance question. The
intermittent dying was actually a bad pair of "new" points. I used
another pair I had laying around and the engine now doesn't die out at
any speed. I ordered a new vacuum advance from Andy Bernbaum and
hopefully the car will be running even better with everything working
