Believe it or DON'T, I found a portrait-type photograph,  of my car's
putative original owner & his wife, behind the dashboard of my car not
long after I bought it, in 1980-1981 !

Actually, the guy's wife looked more like his MOTHER, but, that was
life(-styles) in the 50's....!

That is what happened.

It had a note in it, too.

My father worked at the Corvair plant back in the early '60's and tells of folks leaving Coke bottles and what not in various places on various cars as it rolled down the line.
