Re: [FWDLK] Any recommendations for re-anodizing of aluminum trim?

I have restored a few FL cars and have never re-anodized the aluminum trim, would like to see it done....
I clean off the old coating with oven cleaner and then buff to a bright chrome like shine, lots of work keeping it nice though....
POR-15 makes this clear coat stuff I will be using this spring on some trim and am very "egger" to see if it works like it claims...
I like the other por-15 stuff, but am always wanting it to be move UV proof.
BTW, I am in need of a new chrome shop mine went out of business....
I tried the kits from caswell way too much work for me!
I am in Minnesota but would ship the stuff if the price was right.
I am doing a 52 Plymouth so the chrome dose not need to be "show" but something as good or the same as in 1952, "Korean chrome " as they said would be fine.
