I honestly always hated changing canister filters, my '57 and '58 both have
newer engines (the '57 has a '72 400, the 426 Hemi in the '58 is a late '68) but
the 318 Fury engine I'm putting in my '27 Ford is getting a 90 degree adaptor
for a spin on. For the ease of being able to go to Walmart or anywhere else to
get a filter and for the facts that they are less likely to leak
and cleaner and easier to change.
