That area is where the rain water sat and wore
off the finish. I have a sport deck on my Sport Fury and one on my Fury
and both are tarnished. I’ve seen them refinished but results are not
like original finish. You would think they could be refinished back to original
standards by one of those coating companies. Maybe someone out there has
had good results with one.??? I think an NOS one would cost a
pretty penny. .
