Is it possible, as someone has written, that the Mopar logo might be
facing the inner fender (for whatever reason/screw-up) ?

Ron,or someone, can you contact 'the guy' and ask him a non-leading
question about whether there is anything appearing on the back-side of
it, and what it says, or, can he send a view of it to you?

Imagine all the answers and information that the car would have
provided, if it had been sealed up inside a welded-shut steel container?

One factor that may come into play is that Chrysler could have used different  battery vendors at different times during the model year. Or one plant could have used Willard batteries, while another used Mopar branded batteries.

I find it hard to believe that the buried Plymouth, with 4 miles on the clock, has anything other than what a brand new 57 Plymouth would have rolled off the assembly line with.
