Re: [FWDLK] POINTS TO PONDER

as far as i know- there was only 1 adventurer with fuel injection, it was a black conv't i believe- i'd have to look at my photos, the owner was from upstate NY and the car was on display inside the building at chry@carlisle in '04.... he built the car with the setup off a 350 commando 58 optioned plymouth engine. it was correct as can be, if it were factory built.
the question is were there any factory built injected desotos, and if there were, how many survived the recall? very few plymouths made it past the first 2-3 yrs without swapping injection for afb's

Looks like the pinnacle of our MOPARS recently sold at auction..........
(58 FI ADVENTURER)

Just wondering about a few questions this raises for me..........

CONCERNING PLYMOUTH
1) How many FI 350s left the factory in 1958???????????
1a) Chrysler was 12???   Desoto was about 6??
2) The PLYMOUTH FUEL INJECTION badge---was it the same as on the DESOTO or was it different??  and where was it located?? Has anyone ever seen one???

What does 'AFB' stand for    (ALUMINUM FOUR BARREL??)

What does 'WCFB' stand for  ( WHITE CAST (as in pot metal) FOUR BARREL??)

Now I have a headache
