and to stir it all up even further.... the later AVS is aluminum vacuum secondary and Thermoquad was named so for its thermoplastic middle section... or thermo for "heat" when they leaked and set mid 70s chryslers on fire!

AAANNNDDD..... BBS & BBD stood for "Ball and Ball" single and dual.  When I worked at Chrysler (1953-1961) Mr. Ball was still around the lab, on occasion.
