I was going to mention that I tried the lock-to-lock thing, with no
improvement.
Ron Try jacking the front end up and turning the steering lock to lock, I seem to remember this method to bleed the system. You don't have to jack it up but it makes it easier to turn the steering wheel.John----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Waters" <ronbo97@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 27, 2009 2:18 PM Subject: [FWDLK] Power SteeringHi All -My 58 Plymouth was given it's first long distance run last week. Fifteen miles at highway speeds. Things went well until I pulled into the parking lot of a local department store. At that point I noticed that the power steering wasn't working. I checked fluid levels and everything was fine. I have driven the car since then and the power steering had not come back to life. Can someone shed some light as to where to look to diagnose this problem and also possible solutions ?Thanks, Ron ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
