You can test your Dist. on the car if you use a zero back timing light,
When you replace your vacuum advance Buy one that is adjustable. you will
also need a hand vacuum pump like the ones used for bleeding brakes. Its
not that hard to do. If you decide to go that way I will help you with what
to do.
