Are you sure it's a 241 and not a
260? IIRC the 241's were used early in the 1955 model year, and later in
the run the 260 becaame the base V8.
We have some '55's out west, but not a
lot.

My 1955 Plymouth Belvedere has the 241 V8 and Powerflite trans. It
does about 2800 RPM at 60 MPH with the 3.54 rear axle. Also, just
curious if anyone knows, how many '55 Plymouths do you guess are left in
existence? Being from eastern Massachusetts, I have only seen one other
one on the road in my lifetime. I am 30.
