Just wanted to pass along some interesdting info on an FP31 BLOCK that
we put through sonic and magnaflux testing for a potential
rebuild...........................
THE CYLINDER WALLS ARE UNBELIEVABLE THICK!!
Boring .120 over and using it for racing would be NO PROBLEM
For stock use + 140 would not be a concern.
It has the thickest walls he has ever seen in a stock cast iron block
