Re: [FWDLK] PAINTING OF ALUMINUM??

When refinishing or re anodizing the aluminum on my 56 Fury, I clear coated it with either glossy lacquer or poly urethane.  That keeps it shiny and prevents oxidation.  After a decade, the stuff looked like new, and cleaned up easily with soap and water with a little whip down.

HELLO MEMBERS...................

In order to somewhat protect the surface of a 'cleaned up' aluminum
part---would painting it with clearcoat be a good idea???
