When I read the list of conditions, it reads to me as though the complaint is a pegged gauge, not an overheated engine. Am I reading it wrong? I ALWAYS try to save an original temperature sending unit, because more often than not, a new aftermarket unit is not calibrated correctly do the vintage gauge.
