[FWDLK] Fw: Standard 3 speed transmission interchange

Hello Folks:

Might anyone know if the standard 3 speed transmission used by the flathead six and the standard 3 speed transmission used by the 240/270 Hemi are interchangeable?  

So, are they the same units?

If not the same, is there a way to tell the difference, or which is which when looking at one?
