The wiring was simply a tail from the clock itself to the hot terminal of the ignition switch. Not an actual bundled wire within the couple wires they call a harness on these cars! That's the case on 59 and earlier at least.

Ray, Good information for all of us Forward Look and other Mopar owners.  Do you know if the Forward Look cars are pre-wired for clocks in the wiring looms?  One member said it was easy to add the wiring if needed, but it seems odd they would need to have wiring both with and without relatively common items like clocks and AM radios...

They are  actually a clockwork clock, with a solenoid winding it.

Points are closed, power activates the solenoid to pull the ratchet up.

Ratchet  starts back down, making the clock "Tic-Tok", and

when the ratchet  gets to the bottom, it closes the points again and it starts all over again.

About every 2 minutes as I recall.

So, to repair, carefully bend the tabs up and remove the cover.

Using an emory board or such like, clean the points.

That is the repair.
Other than cleaning, since you are there.

Points get dirty and don't pass the current, so the clock stops.

Adjustments are also easy, just takes time.

If its slow, you adjust it up one 12 hours day, If fast, you turn it back a day.

This is for each minute it is fast or slow. Once adjusted, it is accurate.

It's been Decades since I did this repair on many clocks, so I may be a little fuzzy.......
