The cover car is a beauty. I'm proud to say it was our car. Bob Hayen of Kalispell, MT, restored it. Gary Goers did the interior. This was around 2005 to 2010. Gary had owned it for many years and hauled it to Montana from LA when he moved to Kalispell. It was a special order paint car. We chose a blue from the 58 color chart. Originally it was a sort of golden brown. We sold it at the Monterey Auction after enjoying if for a few years. Won prizes, great driver, a real beauty. Alas, a car that perfect means if you drive it a lot, it's no longer perfect. It was for sale 6 months ago from the LA buyer at the auction for $99k. It's still in excellent condition as I understand the buyer just kept in storage all this time. Don't think it sold, was available on ebay for quite some time. The restoration was featured in a Hemmings Classic Car Magazine back then. The photos in the current issue are from that photo shoot.
