Once you separate those oval shaped sheetmetal "clamshell"halves around where the lines enter the case, you will run into a lot of sticky "dum dum" insulation. Carefully peel all that off and you will see the two line fittings better and reveal the temp sensing
tube. It clips to the evaporator suction line unclip and gently pull it all out of there. Use backup wrenches on ALL fittings and cap your lines as soon as you do. Of course please remove all refrigerant first safely and properly by recovering it. Good Luck!
