You are best to order the fabric from SMS and have a local upholsterer do the work.  Make sure they send a sample and have the fabric in stock.  Ask them to check the stock before placing an order and sending money.  If the fabric is not in stock, or you elect to have them sew up the covers, it will take about a year, if you are lucky, and probably two years to get what you ordered.  And a tremendous amount of frustration.  If time is not a consideration, then they do do good work.   But they will always say 2 or 3 months to get the order and prepayment, and then the waiting begins.  It happened to me one time (never again!), and I know many people with the same story.   Buyer beware!

I called SMS and they said they could (at about 60% higher cost) and will send me some samples. They also said a 2-3 month interval to get them (which I’m okay with.)

I seem to recall some club members saying they’ve waited years for things from SMS so was curious what the group thought overall?
