Re: {Chrysler 300} 300 G (a thank you) and 63 imperial convertible.

Hey John

Is that Martin Godbey?

I met him at the Amelia Concours a few years ago when he was exhibiting a Duesenberg J (interesting car as it was a two door Club Sedan.) He told me that he had Gil Cunningham’s blue on blue 888 300F convertible and it sounded like he was representing Gil’s family on the car (Not sure where that very unique car ended up.)

Hi folks, I enjoyed watching that 300 G convertible sale today on Bring A Trailor along with several others. I was communicating through the Bring A Trailor system with several club members and really enjoyed the commentary.

I bought a letter series car from the same seller about a year ago and then bought my 300 B manual (with air) from them about 10 years ago.

I emailed the seller following the auction and asked them to communicate to the buyer to please join the club if they're not already a member and participate in some of the events, hopefully that happens.

The second issue I know is off the letter car topic but I need help because I just don't have a place to hold long term or enough knowledge of these.  I do a lot of estate work and have pulled a 1963 imperial convertible out of a garage where it's been parked for 40 years.

It has some rust, the engine and transmission are out of the car having both been rebuilt several years ago (per the estate) and I am in the process of getting transferable paperwork for the car.

No significant options that I noted, and no air-conditioning.

It is located in Connecticut.

Is there anyone interested in taking on a restoration project for themselves? Please feel free to reach out.
