I have a 300-L parts car and if you are close enough that we can get together I might be interested in working out a trade for your 64 Coupe. I don't want to sell just a door since my car could be put back on the road. The windshield is gone and the top was bent when a heavy snow load caved in the building it was stored in, and the drive line is gone, but the body is intact and still has seats, console and many usable parts. Is your 64 a non-letter? The only way any letter car should be parted out is if someone like you uses everything you need to restore your car and then makes the rest of the parts you don't need to help other club members with their parts needs. If you are unable to keep a parts car, and if enough other club members need parts so that I can part it out all at once, I will consider parting it out at my shop, but due to zoning laws, it can't be a long, drawn-out deal. How about it, 300-L lovers? I have a few small parts club members have contacted me about, and haven't forgotten about those who have contacted me, but before I start parting a restorable letter car out, I need to have someone with a better car than this that has had a misfortune and needs a major portion, like a front or rear clip, both doors or a good floor, seats, etc. My shop is in the central part of the country, and I would like for someone to be able to come help me dismantle at least the first major part, then I would try to ship other parts. If someone out there wants the whole thing, I can deliver within a reasonable distance. If you need parts for a 300-L 2dht, E-mail me privately and I'll keep track of your needs and if there is enough to make it feasible to part it out, I'll let you know.
