I dealt with an honest guy, Norman of Oklahoma, who delivered a parts car last year - and gave a good rate - from CA to southern Florida - $1200 - no contract, all business done over the phone, car was delivered within 10 days of target date (he waited for a second car so he wouldn't deadhead back). I specified that it was a parts car, not running, etc. I would use him again, definitely. 580-223-5230/580-490-1842, fax 580-490-9841. There are so many very loosely run transporters out there, it's unusual to find a decent one. I'm sure most experiences with auto transporters are negative. I've got a good (bad) story about AAAAdvantage - summary: two months late, car held for ransom at delivery point, etc. John Spiers my69300 <tubman@xxxx> wrote: I was wanting to know if there's a good transporter that anyone can refer.I need a 69 300 transported from Cal. to Ohio in the next week or two.No real hurry. The car is in Citrus Heights Ca.just outside Sacramento.I was hoping that I could find a transporter looking to fill a spot.Since this is a parts car I am hoping to do this a cheaply as possible.Any idea's from club members would be great.
