Hi to all: Just to brag a little, I received the MOPAR PICK at the
Indianapolis Good Guys this past Sunday. Never in a million years did I
think
this was possible. It was said to be the color (Gun Metal Gray) that gave
me
the choice. I still can't believe it!

Congrats!!!!

Were you here Fri??
Course I was concentrating on the swaps, but I missed seeing any
300's.
Did see a real nice 57 Dodge Station wagon though. Snapped off a few
pictures with the digital camera if anyone is interesed.

Went practising last night.....just can't launch the F with any gusto
without
right wheel spin. Be glad to swap a headlight dimmer and signal seeking
radio for a Sure-grip!! Certainly see the need for sticky tires on a
torquemonster like a F but don't have any and this Father/Son rivalry
really
isn't serious enough to justify the bother. Tending to think a gentle
rollout and then BIG PUNCH is the best scheme.
Quentin Smith set to drive a few runs as he has done low tens in a 440
Duster
he owns. The party is getting larger as the word spreads. Stay tuned

Maybe it's going to be a good year for the 300 letter cars....We had our
300 C out weekend before last and won a 2nd place in Pendleton Oregon for
the 59 and older restored/original class.....then on the following day at
a Mopar meet in Richland, Washington, with about 100 Mopar cars there, we
were chosen for the big Sponsors Trophy. The sponsor mentioned that the
300's started the muscle car wars and were the fastest things on the road
in their day....Good Luck and have a fun summer.......Rusty and Thelma Roe
