Talking of torsion bar seals, I bought a "seal package" from a freind the other day, part # 2196 068 in the original Mopar box.Consists of two plastic cable ties & two rubber seals to fit in rear anchor around the torsion bar. Would this be "correct" to use on my 300C, my parts book doesn't list it, but I was wondering if these are an "after factory" type fix. '57s didn't come from the factory with torsion seals did they? On www.moparts.com, there is a 70 Hurst for sale, or better yet, the powertrain for some 70 musclecar. Can anybody save this car from its present owner? You can see the ad on the swap meet section, B body for sale, the last ad. The car seems to be untouched from 1984 and surely doesn't deserve to be parted out to put the 440 into some Plymouth or Dodge musclecar. Please someone save this Hurst Antonello Jelitro [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 5 Date: Tue, 23 Jul 2002 14:59:14 -0700 (Pacific Daylight Time) From: "Rusty and Thelma Roe" <saxblowr@xxxxxxxx> Subject: 1961 Chrysler Newport HELP!!
