was wandering E-bay, saw this auction

Chrysler hemi intake and carbs 300C 300D C300
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34202&it
em=2420158085

I am PUZZLED, these poor eyes see many "clues" that do NOT look like
what I might have expected to see. The intake looks a tad "funny" the pic
of
the casting/part num is unpainted but the manifold in the 2 other pics
is painted, the carbs have "missing" parts, and some parts look like they
were installed on the wrong side of the carbs.

Anyone want to gander at these pics and offer thoughts to a possible true
origin of what is being depicted??

Subject: '57-59 Torqueflite experts please ..

Hi,
I've sent a link about hydraulic oil passages according to throttle
lever position to some of yours but i haven't any clues ! So i send to
the whole list(s)
The page is about '57-59 Torqueflite front valve body; i've take pics
and measurements on a spare valve body which show position of kickdown
valve vs throttle lever. Also a schema at bottom of the page.
I'm not sure of what i assume on this page (ther's some ? in the text
..) so if someone "knows" if i'm right or wrong, let me know before i
crawl under the car ...
The web page is http://www.ifrance.com/c-i-f/fvb.htm

Thanks to all

Hi All

Not a 392 manifold and those are likely Chev, (did not mean to swear)
carbs
as the vac secondary counter weights are on opposite side.

Hi All,

The intake manifold 1634285 looks to be for a C300 /300B according to The
hemi engine data book for 1950's by Leo Linquinst and the American V-8
engine data book.
