Subject: C-300 Windsheild Trim
I was traveling at a brisk pace when a large truck passed by in the
opposite
lane. The resulting gust removed my SS windshield trim piece over the top
of the glass. This being Oregon, following traffic stopped so I could
recover my part that was in the middle of the road. So the question is,
how
is it held on? It seems the piece snaps into the two upright trim pieces
on
either side. Is/are there clips or whatever that hold it in place??

I have a c-300 that acquired a 300b emblem somewhere along the line. I
purchased the last reproduction of the correct emblem from Gary Goers and
I have a
nice 300b original that I no longer need. Does anyone want it? I will sell
it

My 61 ram Dodge has the fitting and the shop manual shows how to connect
it.
Any body remanufacturing these tubes in the future should include a
fitting
as the cleaner air package is nearly free using wrecking yard parts and
the
lack of blowby smell at parade speeds is a MUCH better idea.

My 300K with crossrams has the pcv valve connected to the balance
tube
in the rams but also has a nipple on the drivers side air cleaner
connecting
it via rubber hose to the breather on the valve cover. Is that part of
the
same package? Was it added later?

Subject: my new 300 J
Hello everybody
greetings from Italy
A couple of weeks ago, I finally received my J that was bought through an
ad posted by John Hertog on this list. The car belonged to a guy in
Texas, Bobby Walden, but before him the car was listed as belonging to
Lou Koeppe. in Nebraska, but culd find no address listed in the roster.
Someone remembers this car? It's a Claret J, vin 136443.
I have some letters ( they were in the car) between Denny Wahling in Iowa
and Reed Koeppe, in Kearney, Nebraska, but none of these guys are listed
even in Yahoo yellow pages.
Anybody remembers the car? My J is in good running condition, very little
rust around the lower body, but nothing major. Paint is flat, and front
seats need new covers, the rams have been taken out and a single four in
in their place ( but the original stuff is just coming from the States)
Anything about this car would be greatly appreciated
