We've started a new section at the web site for vintage photos.
You can find it off of the quick index page or use this shortcut:
http://www.chrysler300club.com/rcmstuff/vintage/vint.html

If you have old photos you'd like to see posted, please send them to
John Hertog at crossram@xxxxxxxxxxxxx .

K. Eric Wolfe'
Glad you saw my '65 Chrysler radio ad to Fern. Since she has other
plans for a radio now, she won't be needing the one I have.
So if you will send me your mailing address, I will find out the UPS
shipping charge and let you know the total price for you to make out the
check or money order.

Thanks Fern for replying to my ad. I will sell the '65 Chrysler radio to
K. Eric Wolfe who saw the ad and wants to buy it. I will compile a list of
'65 Chrysler parts I have for sale and send to you.

Hello & happy Friday.

Were early lettercars ever campaigned at the drags? If a team was racing a
big car in the late '50's, what sort of markings (other than burnt rubber)
would the cars have designating classes? Anybody have some
pictures/examples? Did the late 50's racers have wide whitewall cheater
slicks?

The heater-delete C is now a radio/clock/heater delete car with factory
block-off plates and 4-bolt manifolds - and (soon) a noisy 3" exhaust
system. It seems the perfect candidate to dress-up with period
markings/vinyl lettering; especially as I can't afford a good paint job!
The
nostalgia drag look should be fun at next year's cruise-ins. thanks

At this web site: http://www.CLASSICACCESSORIES.ORG

which is rather slow to download,
in the section called:

Late 40s to 50s goodies and accessories 7001-7039

is item # 7037, a Highway HiFi underdash record player. It says "Mopar?"
and "Have others".

Generally this guy's prices are high but if he really doesn't know our
HiFi, then maybe there are some deals here?
I already have one.

Good luck,
Wayne

In 1962 Hot Rod Magazine took a 62 300H and raced it at the drags bone
stock. Then started doing little things to make it go faster . They
ended up campaigning the whole season. It is a great story on how
everything they did was documented and your able to see the results. I
won't tell you the end of the story. I don't want to no the end without
reading it.

Contact Brian Weldon direct at Metalcrafters 714-444-2000 ext 316
or e-mail him at bweldon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The panels are in MI, but you have to contact Brian first to get them
released. Have your credit card ready and the quanity is limited, so don't
linger.
