I extended the belt to it's maximum length and measured end to end. I can measure the length that is folded back for the stitching if you need that info. Exactly how did you measure each side? Mike PS: The WESCO folks are great. Thanks for the tip. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Warrener" <DWarrener@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "'Mike Zagata'" <mzagata@xxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 11, 2003 12:54 PM Subject: RE: [Chrysler300] Seat Belts & "Boots" Mike and Guy,I purchased sealt belts for my 300H from WESCO PERFORMANCE; 215 Ramona Pl.; Camarillo,Ca 93010. E-mail " wesco performance.com ", Phone: 805-738-0223. Cost was $24.00 per set, and the item no. is LL74-02, I think. I measured my old "H" belts last night. The belting measurement on the buckle piece is 45", and on the insert piece is 22-1/2". Hope this helps. You might also try Snnake-Oyl as someone else suggested. They will restore my old original belts for about $180 for both sets. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Zagata [mailto:mzagata@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 10, 2003 1:07 PM To: Doug Warrener Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Seat Belts & "Boots" Doug, I am interested. I have a set in my 300H. They are almost equal to originals. I have no idea where you can find the anchor assemblies. If you are interested, let me know and I will look up the source tonight. I'm new to the club, but not to Chrysler. I was lucky enough to be sponsored by Mopar while racing max wedges in the 60s. I am in need of 2 "sets" of seat belts for the 62 or 63 Chrysler bucket-seat cars (Chrysler 300, Plymouth Sport fury, Dodge Polara 500) (1 set = male insert with belt and anchor end and female buckle with belt and anchor end). The belt material has a fine 4-weave pattern (as opposed to being uniformly course) and can be black or tan. Each anchor end consists of 2 flat pieces of metal with a "J" hook on one end and a rectangular slot for the belt in the other end. The two flat pieces are held together by a small machine screw and lock nut. I need 8 of the flat plates with "J" hooks. The "J" hooks pass through an "eye" bolt which passes through a large, flat washer, then through a hole in the floor, where it screws into a plate with a nut welded onto it. I need 4 eye bolts, 4 large washers, and four plates with nuts. Last, but certainly not least, I need the black vinyl "boots" or sleeves that cover the 2 plates and anchor bolt for each belt segment. Each boot is about 7 inches long, flat for most of its length and then flares out to form a round base with 2 "ears" for the metal plates. I need 4 of these - 1 for each belt segment. Still looking for the black vinyl "boots" or sleeves that slide over the seat belting material and cover the hardware where the belts are anchored to the floor. These boots were used on the bucket seat cars (300, Sport Fury, and Polara 500) and many Imperials in 1962 and 1963. They are black in color, about 7-8 inches ling, flat for most of their length, and then flare out at the bottom to form a rounded base. Please check your old parts cars and parts supply. Thanks for your help.
