[Chrysler300] Powerflite on c-300

  Does anyone know how to identifie a Powerflite trans by serial # ?  My C-300 has a rebuild trans. that painted blue metallic paint. I'm going to have it rebuild again and I don't know if this trany is out of a New Yorker or a Dodge. If is not a 300 powerflite,  would a 300 rebuild clutch and gasket kit work? Thanks, John Peabody
