Without much experience pulling long, heavy trailers, I still feel comfortable in urging you to find some way to weigh the loaded trailer and determine the tongue weight. Experiment with the car location to determine its position that gives you at least 10% of total weight on the tongue. Intuitively, putting the car too far back will really be unstable--and too far forward will overload the hitch and suspension of your tow vehicle.
