Hi John,

Since there are only about 115 registered 300J's, I am curious if two of
them that I saw are
still out there and NOT on the registry.  Maybe someone from the 300 Club
knows about them.

Unfortunately, I do not have any VIN #'s.  Maybe someone knows of the
whereabouts of these
two 300J's.

1.  Located in Sarasota, FL about 13 years ago.  White with Claret Interior.
It was in a large Pole
Barn with concrete floors.  It had been sitting for quite some time.  It was
repainted, but as I remember,
the new paint job was marginal.  Car was complete, but not running.

2.  Located in Libertyville, IL near Bradley Road about 13 years ago in a
garage.  It used to be owned by the father of the owner and the father lived
in CA.  It was driven back to IL.  White with Claret Interior.  Original
300J in great shape.  I think the son of the original owner was not a member
of the 300 Club.  I purchased a '63 Newport Conv. from him as a parts car.
Unfortunately, I lost his name and phone number.

I would be curious to know who may own these cars now.  Another "Unsolved
Mystery".

Hi to all,

Thanks to Eleanor's diligent efforts at keeping track of Letter Cars, we now
have a new updated registry on the Club site.  Last update was 01/26/04,
and, since then, and thanks to communications from the membership, we have
been able to account for 25 more cars !  Keep the leads and VIN numbers
coming, please !

It is also noteworthy that, since 08/99  (5 years ago) , the Club has been
able to account for 238 Letter Series that were previously unaccounted
for....
