Hi All Bob is mostly correct except non registered cars can cruse the first evening, (unregistered) refered to as Open Cruse in down town Sparks. After that car's must have registration sticker on them. I am registered for ' 05 HAN. I get a room for the week at the Peppermill Hotel Casino and leave my Roadster in the north lot that they dedicate to registered cars. That way I do not have to drive to lake and back every day. Any one who plans a early visit during HAN contact me and we will cruse down town Reno in my Roadster which is only 5 min down Virginia. It is a blast w/ thousands of spectators lining the boulevard. There are many events and two should be mentioned. There is a fairly large swap meet near by and the Silver Auto Auction that both start on Wed thru Sat. If you are not registered you pay $5 entry and $5 parking unless you find a space on the street. There is no charge to be a spectator of the parade on Sunday morning. First come first serve if you want to parade w/ me in my Roadster. Contact me in July of ' 05. Only seats two. Sad to say I will not have my C ready for 05 meet. I thought I may photo the bezels and medallions and tape them on quarters of my driver. Will I get by? Second thought, hell I could drill holes and bolt the real ones on. Maybe the short and long spears also. OH! the long spear will go past the door. That's right I can just cut it. As a closing thought any one with a heart or respiratory condition should talk to there doctor about the elevation at Lake Tahoe, 6400'. I remember this as my Mother in law could not come to Lake due to her health condition. The air is thin as they say and the healthy will be short of breath going up one flight of stairs. You can acclimate but, that takes 6 months. Have fun thinking about all this.
