[Chrysler300] Re: Reno Hot August Nights, Thin Mountain Air

Hi All

When Rich says "any carburetor problems will be exaggerated at higher
altitudes", that means your car will run rich do to the thinner atmosphere
with less oxygen. If you know your car runs on the rich side at lower
elevations, (black smoke at tail pipe, sooty plugs) I would consider
jetting leaner to your altitude. I would not concern yourself to jet to
higher altitude for the short stay. As Rich says you will loose some
performance.

Gary
Incline Village, NV (north shore Lake Tahoe). Live at 6300', climb Mt. Rose
to the summit at 8900', arrive at office in Reno at 4400'. All in 40 min.
