300F Fuel Filter

Hi all- - My initial sorting out of my "new" F has disclosed a small fuel leak
at the base of the fuel filter, which on further examination may not be the
correct (or the best) configuration. From the fuel pump, the line describes an
"S" curve before turning upwards, at which point an inline fuel filter is
fitted. Its part number is either 9915408 or WIX 33033. I have a feeling that
fuel flow is restricted through the current filter, but before replacing it I
thought I'd check with the Club for recommendations on both configuration and
appropriate in-line filter. Thanks- - Frank MacInnis
