rear quarter window lift on 300C

I'm looking at my window lift. Am I correct that there is nothing that stops the up motion of the regulator except the window up stop that is bolted to the inner body framework? If this is the case then the only thing that is preventing the regulator arm from disengaging from the motor drive is the up stop. just confirming before I put it back on and have missed something obvious.
