The page in the shop manual you are looking at is showing the "firepower
305" and "Firebolt 265" as being the short stroke engines. VC-2 IS a 300,
but it is the non-letter variety, and the base engine is the 383 with the
3.375 stroke. The page is somewhat confusing as it does not list 300-K as a
separate model (It is VC-4), but as an option on the base model. The 413,
426, & 440 had only one stroke, 3.750 period.
