Matt, if you are heading to the alignment shop soon anyway just center your steering wheel, jack up the car until the tires are almost off the ground, eyeball the wheels straight(adjust by spinning the shaft), take a measurement from the rear of the wheel rim from side to side, then from the same position at the front of the wheel rim. You want them to be roughly the same. This will get you down the road for an alignment without tearing your tires apart.

Sounds like you managed to finally get your ball-joint and center link problems corrected!
