The switch is located on the left side (outside) of the pushbutton housing
under the dash. It's not possible to get the switch off with the unit in the
dash. You should make sure the harness is plugged into the switch, and that
connecting the wires together lights the back up lights before condemning
the switch. The one on my G was just un-plugged.
