Mercedes 1937 Hemi - 625 Horsepower

Thanks, Andy,

Will Daimler allow a "TRUE CHRYSLER HEMI"?

MERCEDES BENZ produced a supercharged nitro-fuel Hemi in 1937:
Engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut was chief designer

625 Horsepower from a 5.6 liter straight 8, for the Grand Prix Cars

Fuel included Methyl Alcohol, Nitrobenzine, Sulpheric Ether and some other
goodies
(Inject peroxide, alter the mix, and you'd get rocket fuel)

The W125 with Rudi Carraciola driving set the lap record at Monaco Grand Prix
in 1937 that lasted until 1955.

Grand Prix Board forced engine downsizing after this beast ripped the skinny
cord tires to shreds.

Daimler should support the Chrysler Hemi enthusiasticaly. They emphasize
history in promoting Mercedes automobiles. It would be good marketing to
properly position and promote a hemi in a specialty Chrysler car.
