Re: [Chrysler300] Freeze Plugs?

Hi All
The best sealer to use when installing core plugs is Permatex # 2, it
provides a good seal and does not harden. It will remain pliable and give
some additional holding power to the core plug.
There is nothing worse then blowing a core plug out on the road. I
blew one out of my C, right in front of the host hotel at Pete Finch's
Momoth Beach, New Jersey meet. According to Murphy's Law it had to be the
one behind the starter. Never fear, starter out, new plug in place, I was
lucky to put about three extensions on the appropriate socket and just sneak
this home made driver in between the inner fender shield and frame rail, a
few mighty whacks with the hammer and we made the afternoon drags at English
Town.
Yours Bill Elder
