300 G Left Headpipe

This may be a silly question, but consider the source. I have a 9 day
old son and the concrete floor has a temperature somewhere between cold
and really freekin' cold. And I am not all that bright to begin with.

Do I need to remove the starter in order to install the left exhaust
headpipe on the G? The car is elavated with the front suspension fully
extended.
